Join Ecolab as a Logistics Planner– 3PL Operations on our Warehousing team, supporting the Global Water supply chain. The role will manage the performance of a network of third-party warehouses to conduct material handling activities including receiving, storage, packaging, and shipping of materials in fulfilling orders to support our distribution model. The individual in this role is responsible for managing the outbound deliveries to ensure on time deliveries. Individuals will ensure proper communication between warehouses, Network Planning, Customer service and Fleet operations. The position will use various tools such as SAP reports, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint to review and follow up on deliveries and communicate status to appropriate personnel. The person in this role will act as a logistics advocate by providing an escalation path for critical and ongoing issues. The successful candidate must be self-directed, achiever, detail-oriented, problem solving and strong communication skills.

What You Will Do:

Coordinate 3PL warehouse operations to ensure daily activities are compliant as measured by KPI’s. This includes:

• Receiving inbound shipments
• On Time Receipts-PGR-Post Good Receipts
• Inventory Management
• On Time PGI-Post Goods Issue
• Distributing open order reports and ensuring 3PL fulfillment performance for customer orders
• Resolve mismatches between the Planned Ship Date and the customer required date to coordinate on-time deliveries or proactive communication to internal customers through daily reports
• Support late order communication and order/delivery changes through a daily review of the revised ship date and open order reports.
• Monitor Weekly Porta Feed report to ensure timely processing. Resolve aging lines.
• Monitor Weekly Returns to ensure timely processing, resolve aging returns with collaboration with 3PL Warehouse and customer service.
• Ensure shipping requirements and special handling for freezing season FP40 and FP50 products are met.
• Lead Quarterly business reviews, manage performance scorecards, and maintain strong relationships to drive performance
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Work cross functionally with customer service, Fleet Team, Quality, planning to support Nalco Water goals regarding product inventory and service level.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships to support performance expectations
• Excellent communication skills to leverage communication with warehouses, customers, and stakeholders
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position
• Strong SAP skills
• Strong Excel proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain and/or operations
• Track record of creative problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Experience with cost optimization
