This outside sales role is part of our top-tier Institutional division, which provides extensive chemical products and solutions tailored to the foodservice and hospitality sectors. Upon completing the initial training program, you will be assigned a well-established customer territory, including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. As the representative of Ecolab, you will offer expert advice on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs, enhancing guest experiences and fostering cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying and influencing key decision-makers and opinion leaders.
- Coordinate sales and service activities in alignment with cross‑divisional colleagues and internal teams (e.g., Marketing Services, Customer Service).
- Manage and strengthen cooperation with distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities, introduce improved business practices, and drive sales growth.
- Maintain an active prospect pipeline and new business development initiatives that support territory growth targets.
- Implement the annual Sales and Service Plan based on the Retain, Grow & Gain strategy, ensuring net sales growth through delivery of Ecolab’s service excellence programs.
- Promote the product portfolio with a focus on maximizing contribution margins.
- Deliver consultative sales supported by value-added services and customer training.
- Regularly report customer interactions, results, and upcoming activities to the supervisor.
- Continuously contribute to process improvements within the assigned territory.
What are the requirements?
- The ideal candidate should preferably reside in Southern Region (Constanta)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of previous Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
- Experience in areas such as food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or pool and spa operations is considered an asset.
- Technical problem‑solving skills, including basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical equipment - considered an asset.
- Fluent in Romanian and a good level of English.
- Demonstrated strength in managing customer relationships and applying a consultative sales approach.
- Self-motivated with effective organizational/time management skills
- Ability to target accounts and achieve results through an action plan.
- Good level in MS Office suite.
- Valid driving licence
- Flexibility for travelling more than 50% of the working time.
