About the Job

Ecolab has an opening for a Procurement Representative within the Equipment Manufacturing Procurement Team, based in Barcelona (ES) or Aubagne (FR). This role is well suited for a commercial‑minded procurement professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment and engaging in strategic sourcing activities rather than daily on‑site operations.

  • Manage and monitor supplier performance, including cost, delivery reliability, service level, and risk exposure

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and Sales during new product and machine developments to anticipate future sourcing needs

  • Monitor supplier markets and industry trends, assess risks and opportunities, and provide commercial recommendations to internal stakeholders

  • Lead or coordinate alternative supplier qualification initiatives from a commercial perspective

  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement to enhance efficiency, transparency, and results

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of procurement systems and processes, including ERP (SAP) deployment activities

  • Collaborate effectively with Ecolab’s European and global procurement teams to align strategies and share best practices

  • Investigate, coordinate, and resolve supply risks or disruptions, including force majeure situations, with clear stakeholder communication
