Job Overview:
This take-charge leader will lead the development of sourcing strategies and a professional team of Procurement and Operations associates within our Indirect Procurement group specifically related to Asset Management (Light Fleet, Heavy Fleet, Material Handling Equipment, and Re-Usable Stainless Tanks). The strong performer will be recognized as a procurement strategy expert and will collaborate with teams developing commercial solutions to accelerate our growth. Main Responsibilities:
Identifies, develops, and implements global and regional sourcing strategies to reduce total delivered cost by driving savings or avoidance and/or performance metrics to meet goals.
Facilitates Total Delivered Cost activities (RFI, RFX, Direct Negotiations) on agreements or activities relating to Original Equipment Manufacturers, Fleet Management Companies, Fuel Providers, Upfitters, and Tank Manufacturers.
Provides leadership, coaching and feedback on the Total Delivered Cost sourcing process to build capability and mature practices across a global team.
Effectively communicates strategies, results, and metrics to senior executives.
Conducts global calls with procurement around the world to communicate global strategy and ensure regional implementation and local execution.
Manages spend for approximately $200M dollars annually
Facilitates and conducts supplier business review scorecard processes with impacted stakeholders.
Stays abreast of industry trends for assigned categories. Provides guidance and recommendations to business to ensure Ecolab is maintaining competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Create bid templates, collect, and analyze bids to inform supplier selection process with stakeholders.
Assist stakeholders with developing requirements (Statements of Work) to complete contract process
Partners with legal team to complete contract negotiation and work through contract redlines
Manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Actively maintains contract roadmaps and financial trackers to communicate project and spend forecasting.
Leads, coaches, and develops direct reports or cross functional teams to ensure strong performance
Interviews, identifies, and recommends strong talent for the organization

Hybrid Role (3 days onsite at St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL)

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
7 years of experience in procurement, fleet management, RDE, finance, or supply chain
Experience with structuring and leading complex negotiations with suppliers like: Fleet Management Companies, Light and Heavy Fleet OEM’s, Material Handling Equipment Solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
Demonstrated history of leadership, teamwork, and project management skills
Demonstrated competitive drive and strong orientation for results and achievement
Demonstrated skills in clear communication and presentation
Demonstrated professionalism and strong presence in interactions with others
Demonstrated ability to deliver savings and avoidance through complex contract negotiation.
