Reporting to the Director of Institutional Foodservice Marketing, we are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for Portfolio Strategy. The main responsibilities include leading the marketing strategies, innovation deployment, and go-to-market activation activities for the $1B+ machine warewashing, manual warewashing and kitchen hygiene portfolios. This role will also lead a team of three marketing associates who are assigned to support these product categories. The successful candidate will have broad marketing experience including product, segment, and communications with strategic capabilities and the ability to drive execution to achieve growth. In addition, this individual will have management experience and be recognized as an inclusive collaborator with the ability to partner and influence key stakeholders.

This position will be based in Ecolab Global Headquarters in St. Paul, MN.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and Execute Portfolio Strategies:

  • Co-lead portfolio marketing strategies with your Director to achieve top and bottom-line growth objectives; including end-to-end management of our Phasegate process

  • Execute innovation development and deployment activities through teams

  • Drive collaboration with partners to ensure program activation.

  • Work with the Communications Team, create communication plans for internal and external customers.

  • Driving Key Business Activities

  • Co-lead with your Director portfolio strategy and planning process

  • Collaborate with NA and Enterprise Initiatives (e.g. Sustainability, eROI, Trademark Management, Market Grid, Comp Intelligence)

  • Partner with segment marketing teams and sales team to drive profitable growth of the portfolios

  • Special Projects

  • Support Building Marketing Talent

  • Initiatives to retain, grow, and gain talent

  • Talent Planning and Calibration

  • Provide leadership, guidance and development plans to set teams up for success

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 8+ years of broad marketing experience to include portfolio, segment, communications, and beyond.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing

  • Successful track record of developing marketing strategies that support goals and objectives.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for talent development with management experience.

  • Strong agility and resiliency with ability to effectively work under pressure and meeting deadlines with changing priorities.

  • Strong Ecolab business acumen; understanding of customer insights, industry trends and the three legs of the stool, distribution, corporate accounts, and field sales.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $133,700.00 - $200,600.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
