We are seeking a Deputy Operations & Maintenance Manager to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an industrial facility. In this role, you will assist with planning, coordinating, and executing daily operations and maintenance activities, while supervising technical teams and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. You will act on behalf of the Operations & Maintenance Manager when required and play a key role in driving continuous improvement in plant performance and asset reliability.
What You Will Do
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily plant or facility operations to meet production, performance, and efficiency targets.
- Support operational readiness for startups, shutdowns, and emergency situations.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and support teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Support the development and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Monitor equipment condition and maintenance performance to maximize asset reliability and uptime.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of equipment and operational issues.
- Enforce company and client safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise engineers, supervisors, technicians, operators, and contractors, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Support asset integrity, reliability initiatives, root cause failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Assist with operational and maintenance planning, reporting, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Details
- Field-based role at a client facility.
- Exposure to an industrial plant environment.
- Minimal travel expected for meetings or training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in operations and maintenance roles within an industrial or utility environment.
- 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Strong understanding of operations and maintenance practices, plant equipment, utilities, and maintenance systems.
- Experience using CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance planning techniques.
- Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.

Physical Demands
- Work in an industrial plant environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in maintenance or asset management (e.g., CMRP, PMP).
- Experience in water, microelectronics, utilities, chemicals, or infrastructure sectors.
