Purolite, an Ecolab company and global leader in resin-based separation and purification technologies, is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our team in Victoria, Brasov.

In this role, you’ll lead the Quality Control Laboratory, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance while guiding a skilled team.

What you will do:

  • Lead and oversee all Quality Control Laboratory (QCLab) activities
  • Manage and develop the QCLab team (Supervisors and Engineers)
  • Plan resources and align lab activities with production needs
  • Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and qualification of lab equipment
  • Oversee test method validation and ensure full compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, cGMP)
  • Review and approve laboratory results, batch records, and Certificates of Analysis
  • Control sample management within the laboratory
  • Implement and maintain QMS documentation and procedures
  • Monitor budgets, capital expenditures, and resource utilization
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, performance, and efficiency
  • Ensure training, development, and performance management of the team
  • Enforce health & safety standards and training compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support new lab projects
  • Communicate product quality information across all relevant stakeholders

What you'll need:

  • Graduate in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry Faculty graduate
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial laboratory
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality management systems
  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial position
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good understanding of cGMP, FDA (21 CFR 210/211), and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011)
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and health & safety practices
