Purification Technologies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Commercial & Analytics to support the Global Purification business, with a primary focus on the US / Global consolidation. This role operates at the intersection of commercial finance, advanced analytics, and data integrity, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to drive profitable growth and improve decision-making. This is a highly hands-on role requiring finance acumen coupled with strong technical capabilities in data extraction, modeling, and data quality management. The analyst will independently work across multiple commercial datasets to generate insights, ensure data integrity, and support short term and strategic business decisions. This role offers high visibility across global commercial and finance leadership, with direct impact on business decisions and performance outcomes.
What you will do
- Partner closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to provide insights on performance, pipeline, pricing, and profitability
- Build and maintain order intake models and short-term revenue projections using order-level data
- Support monthly forecasting and deliver high-frequency analysis during quarter close, including revenue pacing and variance analysis
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and (preferred) semantic data models
- Independently extract, transform, and integrate data using Power Query and/or SQL across CRM, ERP, and financial systems
- Profile and assess data quality, identify inconsistencies, and implement data cleansing, reconciliation, and imputation logic
- Ensure full traceability from source systems through reporting outputs and forecast models
- Apply consistent commercial data structures including customer hierarchies, product taxonomy, segmentation, and UOM normalization
- Automate recurring reporting and analytics workflows and improve data processes
- Support US and global initiatives and provide ad hoc analysis
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 5 years of professional experience
- 4 years of experience in Commercial Finance / FP&A with strong analytics exposure
- Experience in global manufacturing or SKU-driven businesses
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau (reporting, dashboards, data models)
- Strong experience with Power Query and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and reconciliation
- Proven ability to build order intake models, short-term forecasts, and support quarter-end analytics
- Experience integrating datasets across CRM, ERP, and financial systems with traceability
- Data quality management experience including validation, reconciliation, and analytical adjustments
- Commercial data literacy (customer hierarchies, product taxonomy, segmentation, UOM normalization)
- Proven ability to partner with multiple senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain
