This position will be responsible for providing functional support and guidance across core iScala Finance, Logistics, and Manufacturing modules, ensuring effective system performance and alignment with business needs. Working closely with business users, technical teams, and regional stakeholders, the role will drive process standardization, support ERP implementations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating business requirements into practical ERP solutions while supporting testing, validation, and go-live activities.

How you'll make an impact:

  • PEOPLE – directly leads the Plant Physico-Chemistry Quality Control and the Microbiology Quality Control team. Performs annual PPD & Goal Setting.
  • PEOPLE – Selects, trains, develops, retains, qualifies and manages the team in line with Ecolab standards. Organizes the Labs activities according to priorities.
  • PEOPLE – Leads the team to resolve analytical and technical QC issues.
  • COMPLIANCE- Ensures that all applicable procedures are understood and followed. Assists in the development and writing of procedures and SOPs, as necessary.
  • COMPLIANCE – Is responsible for all QC testing data and related calculations. Maintains all paper and electronic documents and logs associated with QC testing. Issues Certificates of Analysis (CoA). Manages Out Of Specifications and Out Of Trends.
  • COMPLIANCE - Monitors the development of any needed (or future) QC method validation.
  • COMPLIANCE – Tracks QC KPIs and continues improving. Closes CAPA on time. Monitors expenditures related to QC activities and programs and assists in budget preparation.
  • CULTURE - Works cooperatively with the different departments in the Plant and in the Group to identify root causes of quality issues and implement processes to resolve and prevent issues using TPM methodologies.
  • CULTURE – Enables QC to continuously improve. Eliminates/Simplifies testing protocols, non-added value activities, etc.
  • CHANGE - Provides technical guidance and works closely with allocated division Marketing, Sales, Quality, R&D, and local Manufacturing and Distribution on major new product introductions. Supports product launches.
  • CHANGE – MOC. Provides technical guidance and works closely with allocated division Marketing, Sales, Quality, R&D, and local Manufacturing and Distribution on product and process changes.
  • HYGIENE- Ensures the maintenance of the right hygiene level across the site and implements projects to improve further the hygiene level across the site.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or related field with strong Chemistry component.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a Chemistry Lab manager with three in a related industry. This includes health and hygiene products, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, or other consumer-end use specialty chemicals companies. The experience should be in Quality Control or R&D.
  • Strong drive, determination and management skills to lead from the front and get the best out of the team.
  • Experience in ISO 13485/regulated production
  • Strong analytical expertise (HPLC, GC, CI, NIR, Potentiometry, etc.).
  • Experience in Microbiology
  • English fluency
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Expertise in project management and in managing supply-chain wide improvement projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma/DMAIC trained.
  • Experience in method validation.
