The Customer Supply Chain Manager - Bioprocessing and Purification Technologies is responsible for the execution of commercial and customer supply chain strategies and the integration of these strategies with Ecolab, customers, and Ecolab third party service providers. This position works with our customers, Ecolab division leaders, Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain to influence, lead, develop, commercialize, and execute strategic supply chain initiatives. These initiatives will be designed to drive growth, operational efficiencies, reduce inventories and improve service. Some examples include, but not limited to, Joint Business Planning, Supplier Collaboration initiatives, Pricing and Policy Programs, Cost to Serve (CTS), Data Sharing, and Waste Reduction programs.

In addition, this leader will be responsible for leading cross functional teams and managing customer initiatives to identify and implement streamlined, standardized, simplified and sustainable processes across the Integrated Supply Chain, Divisional Sales Leadership, and the Sales Field.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with Ecolab’s top customers, including the delivery of plans to optimize the total Supply Chain.
  • Liaise with regional Manufacturing & Logistics leadership teams in the deployment of DIFOT loss analysis / service improvements.
  • Lead regular Customer presentations and engage directly with the Customer Sales Teams on business-focused supply chain initiatives.
  • Play leadership role in Customer’s supplier community by being an active leader in supplier collaboration initiatives, including leading teams across multiple companies and industries to maintain our position as valued supplier and industry leader.
  • Lead cross-functional end-to-end teams for joint business planning to drive revenue/margin growth, improve service, and reduce inventories and costs.
  • Develop data sharing capabilities with customers that enable visibility to inventory levels, demand forecasting, and waste.
  • Analyze key data points and develop action plans to drive improvements in service and reductions in operational costs and inventory investment.
  • Utilize SAP and Planning systems to build and implement solutions to better serve our Customers.
  • Owner of building and executing month-end/ quarter-end plans.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics management and/or customer service
  • 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience with direct Customer/Supplier, Logistics Operations, Transportation, Product Supply and/or Customer Service
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or related field
  • Demonstrated ability using data to drive change through others
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset to engage leadership both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities – gathering, interpreting, and acting upon data
  • Demonstrated experience “running own show” to drive results in operational efficiencies and service improvement
  • Demonstrated experience creating presentations and presenting to internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Timely and effective decision maker
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in leading LEAN/Six Sigma / TPM initiatives

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $96,700.00 - $145,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
