Position Summary

We are looking for a Temporary Marketing Associate to join our Healthcare Marketing team in Barcelona. This role is a key contributor to the execution of the European marketing strategy, supporting tactical implementation and working cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Finance, and regional marketing teams.

The successful candidate will support product lifecycle management, marketing campaigns, and commercial initiatives, contributing to business growth, profitability, and market share development.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Execution

  • Support the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns in the designated markets.

  • Assist in product launches, updates, and lifecycle management (phase-in / phase-out).

  • Contribute to demand generation strategies based on market research and customer insights.

  • Execute communication materials and promotional activities ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Support sales teams with tools, training materials, and competitive insights.

  • Collaborate on sales enablement initiatives to improve revenue and profitability.

  • Help coordinate customer communication and market-facing initiatives.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Develop a strong understanding of healthcare customers through market analysis, VOC, and field interactions.

  • Identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and growth.

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory environment.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, R&D, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to share best practices and ensure consistency.

  • Support the creation of high-quality marketing materials and communications.

Operational & Analytical Support

  • Track and report key performance indicators and campaign effectiveness.

  • Assist in forecasting, product availability coordination, and issue resolution.

  • Contribute to digital marketing initiatives and customer engagement strategies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field — preferably Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or similar

  • Additional qualification in Marketing is a plus

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in marketing, healthcare, or a related field

  • Experience in B2C/B2B environments or healthcare sector is a plus

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and international environments.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Digital mindset and interest in marketing tools and analytics.

  • Fluent in English; Spanish or other European languages are a plus.
