Payroll & HRIS Analyst

Job Characteristics:Performs professional analysis and reconciliation of payroll related transactions impacting the financial statements. Partners with HRIS to test on-going system upgrades and implementations that are integral parts of the payroll system. Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects within the Payroll department. Responsible for maintenance and transmission of most complex payrolls. This is the most senior skill level, without supervisory responsibility. Job may provide advice and training to less experienced payroll jobs.
Education/Work Experience:Degree in accounting-related field and five or more years of significant payroll experience.
Independence Level/Reports to:General direction. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Errors may cause delay, expense and disruption. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Normally reports to Payroll Supervisor.
