Based in Cluj Napoca, Romania, EHS Engineer will be developing and implementing the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures according to Romanian legislation and internal company rules and procedures. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Coordinate the EHS activities within the organization;
  • Develop and implement the EHS procedures according to Romanian laws and internal company policy;
  • Perform safety& health risk analysis;
  • Determine PPE requirements;
  • Identify EHS training needs, develop and sustain EHS training programs inside the organization;
  • Participate in accident investigations in order to identify causes, take corrective actions and implement prevention procedures;
  • Perform hazard assessment for all jobs and processes and approve all PPE;
  • Participate in pre-work activity conference/ orientation with contractors/ service representative;
  • Maintain the relationship with all EHS regulatory agencies;
  • Complete safety review for new projects and equipment and track completion of corrective action;
  • Organize and coordinate first aid drills and spills drills;
  • Participate in the internal S&H audits/ self-assessments and track completion of corrective actions;
  • Complete the annually required environmental self-assessment questionnaire; Participate in the environmental internal audits and track completion of corrective actions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Technical University;
  • 2-3 years of proven experience (Safety, SSM, PM);
  • SSM certification (with a minimum of 80 hours);
  • English level: advanced;
