Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior/ Project Engineer who is the main touchpoint for all matters pertaining to Intercompany business for Fisher control valves. This hybrid role consists of both other world area (OWA) internal sales channel support and project management.
This position requires strong interpersonal communication & business ability to facilitate the best possible outcome for the enterprise. On top of the satisfaction of your customers who are your colleagues in the Sales & Project Management (PM) department in OWAs, Asia Pacific (AP) profitability and year on year top line growth are part of your metrics.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide mentorship and direction to both AP & OWA teams to ensure seamless collaboration between Fisher departments in the various world areas (Europe, Middle East & Africa, Latin America and North America).
- Coordinate with KOB1 support teams, Operations, and other critical pipe teams to confirm the project execution and pricing strategies to OWA teams.
- Monthly update to management on the funnel, forecast, and outlook of the inter-company project business for both operations and sales planning.
- Coordinate with AP Operations for manufacturing strategy in line with the best execution practices.
- Participate & contribute in all pre-award KOB1 - Tier 3 processes to effectively support OWA in winning the order.
- Ensures compliance to and fulfillment of Intercompany terms, and conditions.
- Liaise and analyze project risks which affects AP manufacturing strategy and work with Enterprise teams to mitigate risks or provide alternate directions.
- Understand and review the profit margins for intercompany projects. Effectively manage the issues with management involvement.
- Manage Interco pricing and related discount structures; As needed, involve and bring up to AP management for final decisions and strategies.
- Prompt support to the OWA channel (Sales & PMO) needs adhering to their timelines.
- Plan, monitor, lead, and manage improvement processes for the betterment of intercompany business; Support and closely coordinate the existing and new Kaizen initiatives across the WA.
- Act as an anchor and be a primary communication and point of contact for all matters pertaining to intercompany business.
- Exhibit Project management skills to manage projects from Quote to Cash.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or any related field.
- 3+ years of working experience in project management, process industry or technical sales background.
- Knowledge on pricing and discount structures.
- Excellent knowledge in Engineering and Oil & Gas industry.
- Availability to travel based on project or business demands.
- Willingness to be flexible on regular office hours. (Does this need to be in or can we omit this? We can mention during the interviews though.)
- Decisive, drive and ability to deliver effective, innovative solutions.
- Proficient in PC skills including software like MS Office, MS Project.
- Mature, Self-motivated and customer service oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills and results oriented.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Solid people management skills, strong communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- CAPM or PMP is preferred but not required.
