Job Description

The e-Commerce Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to support key e-Commerce projects within the Emerson Professional Tools Division. These projects include content enrichment projects for the Emerson Professional Tools website, distributors and key retailer partners including Amazon, Home Depot and Lowe's. The e-Commerce Intern will also work cross-functionally with the e-Commerce sales team, digital marketing team, product marketing team, engagement team, and with the e-Commerce Partner agency.

What to Expect in our Intern Program:
Expand your technical and professional skills in a real-world setting. Emerson interns are given meaningful work, support, and mentorship from experienced managers and key business leaders. There is the potential to gain knowledge and experience in a variety of ways by exploring opportunities associated with your major.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Data enrichment
  • Asset creation
  • Video development
  • Reporting and analysis
  • Supporting e-Commerce sales team requests
  • Other e-Commerce marketing tasks as assigned
  • Collaborate with other interns to complete a marketing communication project and present to management.
Who You Are:

You balance planning with actions. You solicit both input and discussion. You focus on priorities and set stretch goals.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, digital marketing, or related field
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM) during the scheduled semester or summer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Candidate resides near business location
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Previous co-op/intern experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills
  • Passion for eCommerce, digital marketing, and a willingness to learn
