In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Supervising a maintenance team's daily tasks, covering electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and facility repairs.
- Upholding and supervising the safety program within the maintenance department, ensuring compliance with company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Encouraging collaboration among maintenance personnel, encouraging teamwork and collective effort.
- Ensuring equipment maintenance aligns with environmental requirements.
- Contributing to the development and upkeep of a Preventative Maintenance and Part Inventory program.
- Evaluating equipment performance and identifying vital repairs to improve machine uptime.

For this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma is required (some college and/or additional training / certificates preferred).
- Relevant years of proven experience in a foundry environment commensurate with the level of this position.
- Supervisory experience in a maintenance environment with mechanical and electrical understanding.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Ability to read equipment blueprints.
- Ability to spend majority of the day on the floor walking/standing.
- Available to work weekends to support production, work on projects or PM’s.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
- 5+ years of proven experience in a green sand iron foundry.
- DISA Vertical molding, Inductotherm induction furnaces, and Isocure core make a strong plus.
- 3+ years’ supervisor experience in a maintenance environment.
- Understand the workings and functionality of PLC controls (ability to program a plus but not required).
- Experience in working with a multitude of contractors for various projects and tracking project timelines.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
- Understanding of lean principles including Poke Yoke, Kaizen, and root cause analysis
- Prior experience installing new CMMS system.
