Emerson Tool Company is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a new role of IT Warehouse Systems Analyst in our Pharr, Texas warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless data exchange and collaboration between our company's systems and warehouse automated equipment, enabling efficient warehouse operations and improving supply chain visibility. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Collaborate with internal customers and partners to understand integration requirements of current and new automation equipment
- Develop project plans, timelines, and landmarks for automation integration projects.
- Develop technical specifications and support to improve ERP and supply chain processes and communication from both business and technical perspectives
- Develop and maintain documentation related to integration configurations, processes, and standard methodologies.
- Conduct integration testing (SIT/UAT) to validate data accuracy, system functionality, and performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and standard methodologies related to warehouse systems integration and automation
- Supervise ongoing integration processes and system performance to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies.
You communicate optimally in a variety of settings including one-on-one, small or large groups, for in person, group, and remote. You plan and align objectives to meet organizational goals by staging activities with landmarks and schedules. You are customer focused with both the internal user as your customer and the external business customer as you gain insight and configure solutions that meet their expectations. You are willed to take action, readily tackling a challenge without unnecessary planning with a ‘can-do’ demeanor in good and ambitious situations
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related subject
- Prior experience (2+ years) in warehouse systems integration, in a logistics or supply chain environment
- Familiar with warehouse operations and logistics processes, such as inventory management, order fulfilment, picking and packing processes, and shipping
- Solid grasp of data exchange protocols and integration methods (APIs)
- Knowledge in Java, C#, .NET, SQL, HTML
- Understanding of transmission protocols (TCP, IP, ARP, etc.)
- Ability to travel internationally as needs require
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
- Experience and working knowledge of Oracle ERP and Oracle WMS
- Working experience with Vertical Lift Machines, automated pick cells, warehouse IoT
- Experience with PLC integration
- Ability to code in JavaScript, Python, Oracle PL/SQL
- Proficient in English / Spanish
