Job Description
Senior Service Technician – Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Based in Jubail and to provide quality, professional and profitable after-sales depot service support to the Emerson Final Control products in Middle East & Africa.
Though core activities will generally be in support of FCTL depot service activity, associated products provided by other Emerson business units (Valves and control for example) may also be included within the scope of work on occasion.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Receiving inspection of incoming valves and maintain valve register.
Disassembly, cleanup, and evaluation of parts.
Assembly of new equipment or repaired equipment.
Calibration, testing and troubleshooting of valves as well as measurement and valve related instruments.
Knowledge in International standards API 598, API6D, ANSI 70.2 etc.
Documentation of repair / testing / assembly activities – cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, labor hours, etc.
Handling basic measuring tools Vernier caliper, height gauge & etc.
Various inventory control responsibilities - stocking shelves, pulling parts, cycle counting, accurate documentation of inventory transactions.
Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems
Nameplate stamping and tagging.
Boxing / shipping of old and new parts. Crating and packaging when required.
Final inspection and completion of inspection report.
Signing and detailing date compliance sheets.
Participation in field service calls, as required, at customer sites. May require overnight stays from time to time.
Supervise & train contractors for adaptive to repair process.
Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations.
Responsible for personal safety and those around. Can maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
Participation and involvement in Safety, Quality and Activities Committees. Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
- Strong Depot service background and experience with Valves products preferred. Other products experience will be added advantage.
- Read and Understand Technical Documents, Procedures, Data sheet, MSDS & etc.
- Effective communications in English written and verbal.
- Basic skills in operating, MS Word, MS Excel, and other computer software
For this Role, You Will Need:
- High school or Mechanical related associate degree a plus
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in reputed valve industry
- Regional travel will be required, both Internal and Externals
