Job Summary:

This position will lead PLM activities of Enovia program implementation for global isolation business. This position involves the use of technical expertise to develop functional requirements, design, develop, implement, integrate, train and support enterprise-wide PLM users. Requires strong product understanding and strong communication to influence product experts and business leaders. This person will lead a team of 6 people to handle day to day support, new feature / functionality, continual improvement, and training / rollout.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Prioritize PLM related projects based on business strategy and working with Tech CoE Engineering Director & resource them suitably.
  • Collaborate with SBU & WA Engineering teams to develop the functional requirements for PLM and details them in standard Emerson formats.
  • Provide technical leadership for overall PLM system development, issue resolution and pro-active approach towards improvements, maintenance & support by working closely with end users.
  • Drive Engineering execution excellence using detailed approach, data driven decisions, project metrics (Lead time, FPY, Cost etc), continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talents by crafting a suitable organization structure, encouraging a performance culture, and promoting open and candid communication. Collaborate with HR or relevant field for equivalent experience.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent from reputed institutes with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical skills needed for PLM.
  • Outstanding engineering process skills involving NPD, ETO & ECM.
  • Strong people leadership skills – hiring, development, performance & retention.
  • Project management skills involving scoping, prioritizing, work break down, estimation, resourcing, scheduling, risk management etc.
  • Experience in PLM with any major tools.
  • Behavioral competencies including Technical Savvy, Ensures Accountability, Optimizes Work Processes, Develops Talent, Communicates Effectively,
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Experience with Enovia preferred
  • Able to travel globally as required.
