Job Description

The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for preparation of accurate product/project estimates whilst communicating requirements with customers and internal departments.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support quotations with technical review of RFQ or POS including technical information.
  • Attend and participate in technical meetings, marine exhibitions, and seminars.
  • Support sales reports on regular basis.
  • Handling documents from PO to Order Transfer Document.
  • Implement company’s sales and marketing plans & materials.
  • Assisting global marketing function.
  • Management of Poseidon data with Area Sales Manager.
  • Support Manager to increase order booking.

Technical Management for N/B Project at specific Korean and overseas shipyards.

  • Review the technical specification and make quotation for all quotation inquiries for responsible customers as above.
  • Clarify scope of supply throughout technical bid evaluation or customer meeting
  • Implement the customer ITC and Transaction Screening.
  • System presentation for package system detail of relevant customers.
  • Develop and improve various solutions and alternatives related to marine business.

Order Management

  • Checking the updates and status of the opportunity on Poseidon.
  • Generate the Oder Transfer Document(OTD) and share with related department
  • Clarify the supply of scope based on the quotation with project team after OTD issue.
  • Customer Contract Review.

Inside Sales Engineer business activities

  • To ensure that quotations meet customer requirement and quote turnaround is within 2days.
  • Order booking data input.
  • Market share data input.
  • Management commission payment.
  • Update marketing material.

Data input for a Report and Management

  • Input data in Market share, Order In Take.
  • Fill in data for Commission Management
  • Enter data in Reference.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Technically understanding ICMS & AMS for new business.
  • Mechanical & electric knowledge to understand VRCS & CMS & TLG & Flowmeter.
  • Improve good conversation skill with internal and external customers
  • Rise frequency of telephone calls with intercompany
  • Focus to improve speaking-English skills and presentation skills
  • Broaden knowledge of new systems related to business and Poseidon System.
