Job Description
- Own the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the Egypt, Libya & Sudan Area.
- Set and handle objectives for product lines and sales teams to achieve volume, discount, and growth targets.
- Provide strategic and administrative leadership across sales, marketing, and service activities, including project pricing decisions.
- Provide leadership to all sales and service employees in Egypt for personal and business development, including leading organization review and organization development processes. Direct and handle headcount development within agreed budgets.
- Provide mentorship to local business partners, develop joint strategic plans, and ensure strategic alignment for improved growth.
- Understand customer needs and industry trends, facilitating rapid changes to address these needs.
- Represent Emerson at a senior level with customers and peer organizations.
- Build awareness of Emerson’s capabilities among major customer organizations.
- Fulfill roles as Health and Safety responsible person, and Data protection Compliance Officer for Emerson Egypt.
- Additional statutory director duties.
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.
- Experience in a Senior Leadership role
- Validated skills in business and financial management
- Experience in supervising or managing a team
- BSc or MSc Degree Engineering Degree
- 10 - 20 years of proven experience
- Regional travel will be required, both Internal and External
- Experience within a similar industry
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
