Junior Project Engineer

As a Junior Project Engineer, your role will involve completing projects that deliver Distributed Control Systems for process industry automation. These industries include Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil & Gas, and Refining. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and factory acceptance test phases. You will also be responsible for crafting documents developed for our customers within our project team according to agreed planning and functional requirements. As a member of the Project Team, you will contribute to the completion of project-related engineering work and will be accountable for the assigned scope.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To work within a project team to deliver one or more projects in parallel under the supervision of the Senior/Lead engineer.
• To ensure the user documentation accuracy of the software according to customer specifications, along with handling user documentation.
• To develop typical functions, the operator Human Machine Interface, and specific configuration in DeltaV.
• To be involved in software internal testing, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests and startup at the client’s site.
• To be flexible to travel to customer sites worldwide, including offshore installations, as well as to other European offices for project meetings, FATs and start-up according to project requirements.
• Follow the correct working methods, procedures, tools, and identify areas of improvement where needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering-related field.
• Computer literate (MS Office) with software programming skills.
• Basic understanding of distributed control systems (DCS)
• Experience in working in project teams (especially geographically distributed teams)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Automation
• Proficient in Romanian & English with a third European language preferred (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel with a European focus, mainly for shorter periods (up to 50%) as required.
