Job Description
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating and procuring raw materials and office supplies.
- Proceed material purchasing related activities including new supplier set up, price update, issue PO and delivery follow up.
- Supply chain management to reduce the supply risk.
- Drive for cost reduction/containment project to reduce the material cost.
- Drive for process improvement projects to improve both buyer and supplier process.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Comply with the ESH laws and regulations and internal ESH rules/instructions, actively participate in safety training, identify and take improvement actions to reduce or eliminate the risk/ hazard.
You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals. You quickly and significantly take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You actively seek guidance from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain.
- Min. 2 years’ relevant working experience in the manufacturing industry with project management experience.
- ERP knowledge is preferred.
- Good communication skill and teamwork.
- Can work under pressure and willing to make change.
- University graduate or equivalent.
- Mechanical engineering or electrical engineering related major.
- Good communication skill in both Chinese and English.
- Familiar with Microsoft office tools.
