Job Description
This position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) application with a specific focus on Benefits integration and the Oracle Workforce Compensation module. In the area of Benefits, the analyst will be a main liaison between IT and business collaborators and third party vendors to prioritize projects, manage the backlog, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure execution and successful operations around integrations between HCM and benefit provider systems. In the area of Compensation, the analyst will support the implementation of Oracle Workforce Compensation to enable HR programs and assist with production support as needed. Overall, the role supports Emerson in a global, multi-business group environment and will work with business owners, project leads, managers, and different agile teams in Digital HCM, Benefits, and Compensation.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:
- Define and own the project backlog for Benefits, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors and ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Drive planning and execution of the backlog to ensure successful delivery
- Facilitate requirements gathering, document fit/gap analysis, and create technical design specifications
- Identify functionality gaps based on business unit requirements and current system functionality; recommend best in class solution to the customer
- Manage the configuration of Benefits and Compensation related applications based on the business unit requirements and Emerson/Digital HCM standards
- Partner with the Organization’s point of contact and Operations team to identify and resolve production issues and maintain minimal disruption to business operations
- Assist with testing system functionality, enhancements, custom interfaces, reporting tools, and conversion programs
- Maintain end user training documentation and train users
- Monitor application development and technical support to ensure quality and on-time work
- Present enhancement statuses to collaborators during iteration review meetings
- Understand business processes and map current functionality to Oracle
- Review and research new system features and documentation from quarterly upgrades
- Perform quarterly regression and enhancement testing
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skill for Oracle HCM modules
- Provide support to the Business Units for Benefits, Compensation, and other associated modules as needed

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of configuration, implementation, or business support experience with an HCM application
- Experience with large change initiatives
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for sponsorship now or in the future
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- Oracle HCM experience preferred; however, other HCM system experience will be considered
- Experience in Benefits and Compensations
- Experience working with agile teams and operating with SAFe agile implementation practices
- Deadline oriented with a sense of urgency in meeting project goals
- Ready and willing to share information, as necessary
- Able to communicate with personnel in multi-disciplines from the clerical level to senior management
- Able to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and vendors both internal and external
- Interacts with other team members to exchange information and creates a positive and productive team dynamic
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal and written communication skills
