Job Description

As a Software Sales Engineer (SSE), you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of cutting-edge engineering initiatives. We are building a world-class team of passionate SSEs to accelerate license sales and expand our software footprint across key industries.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Act as a hunter and closer—identify prospects, build strong relationships, maintain a healthy pipeline, and close deals.
  • Be a Technical Expert: Serve as the bridge between advanced software solutions and customer needs. Confidently deliver live demos and articulate technical value.
  • Inspire Innovation: Champion our solutions and empower engineers to achieve more through innovation.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Account Managers, Support, Customer Success, Operations, and Marketing to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Embrace a Growth Mindset: Adapt to change, learn from challenges, and continuously seek improvement in a dynamic environment.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Technical Expertise:

  • 3–5 years of engineering experience in Test & Measurement.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as NI LabVIEW, TestStand, LabVIEW Real-Time, LabVIEW FPGA, C#, and related platforms.
  • Quick learner with the ability to stay current on evolving software features.
  • Familiarity with engineering challenges in Semiconductor, Transportation, and Aerospace & Defense (ADG) industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer), Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Sales & Communication Skills:

  • Previous sales experience (if any) is a plus, with a strong focus on exceeding targets and closing deals.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals in a competitive environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences (technical and non-technical).
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills, confident in showcasing the software's capabilities.

Relationship Building & Teamwork:

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and act as a strategic advisor to customers.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a focus on shared success across internal teams.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English
