The Software Engineering Development Program (EDP) is a three-year development program designed to provide a range of development opportunities, focused on software engineering, to help recent university graduates build critical skills as they gain a well-rounded experience within our organization. These structured experiences will expose participants to several elements of our development process and provide real opportunities to collaborate with other employees and management, receive mentoring, gain cross-functional experience, and receive formal training. Rotational assignments include Bluetooth connected products, commercially sellable software, our in-house CRM platform, Business Intelligence, distributor and supplier portal, JD Edwards/ERP development, and Intelligent Automation/AI development.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software across multiple domains.

  • Apply Agile methodology principles and collaborate within cross-functional teams.

  • Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to translate business needs and customer requirements into technical solutions.

  • Perform hands-on development using modern frameworks, tools, and languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Java/Kotlin, Swift, Vue.js, SQL, Azure services, Git).

  • Maintain source code repositories, technical documentation, and ensure proper version control and deployment practices.

  • Apply knowledge of secure coding, data integrity, and system performance considerations throughout the software lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with mentors and rotation managers to set goals, track progress, and reflect on learnings at the conclusion of each rotation.

  • Engage in elective “lab” projects to broaden experience in areas like DevOps, UI/UX, AI/ML, and cross-functional consulting

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, or related field
  • Solid academic standing

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Master’s degree in software engineering or MBA

  • Highly motivated and takes initiative.

  • Engineering Co-op or Intern experience
