Global Logistics and Compliance Manager

The Logistics and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing all logistics operations that support our global manufacturing and distribution network. This role manages domestic and international transportation, import/export compliance, and coordination with overseas suppliers and carriers. The Logistics and Compliance Manager will ensure that materials, components, and finished goods flow efficiently through the supply chain — from global sourcing and production to final delivery — while optimizing costs, maintaining service levels, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Manage and optimize international and domestic transportation networks, including ocean, air, and ground freight for plants in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Implement carrier bid awards. Manage relationships with carriers. Track carrier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL partners to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Proactively monitor and communicate status of inbound shipments to Supply Chain organization at our plants.
- Oversee import/export documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Partner with procurement, production, and planning teams to align logistics operations with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Analyze freight costs for Ocean, Air Cargo, Parcel, and Ground transportation. Drive mix to best-cost modes. Partner with Supply Chain, Operations and Planning teams to minimize costly expedites.
- Analyze and report key logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, freight cost per pound, and lead time.
- Develop contingency and risk management plans for potential supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and execute cost reduction projects.
- Work with Supply Chain and Trade Compliance teams to identify opportunities for savings on duties and tariffs.
- Manage claims for lost or damaged freight as needed.
- Document processes and desk-level work procedures.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain management experience.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

- Advanced degree (Masters, Business Administration or other advanced IT or Engineering related degree)
- A demonstrable experience in leading a large global organization, preferably in a matrix organization for the IT field
