Based in our Houston, Texas location, you will be responsible for providing Quality leadership and Quality Management System oversight in the manufacture of world class actuators and actuator related products. In this role you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop innovative solutions to complex challenges, and collaborate with other functions to achieve company objectives.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Drive a Zero-Defect culture by building quality awareness, providing training, and promoting continuous improvement.
Lead, maintain, and improve all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring effective audits and management reviews.
Improve efficiency and productivity of Quality Control processes while preventing quality escapes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and eliminate root causes of defects through robust problem-solving and corrective actions.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure processes are accurately documented and continuously improved.
Collaborate with Supply Chain to qualify suppliers and drive ongoing supplier performance improvement.
Support part qualifications and cross-functional alignment to maintain quality standards.
Report QMS effectiveness, key metrics, and resource needs while determining staffing and assignments for the Quality team.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
6+ years management / leadership quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Bills of Material, and specifications

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience developing and implementing systems to demonstrate compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, API Q1, PED, CSA, ASME, NACE, GOST, or customer specifications such as Shell-DEP
Understanding of non-destructive testing techniques such as Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, and Ultrasonic Testing
Demonstrated ability to manage in an environment requiring detailed quality certification document packages, full material traceability, and customer or third-party inspections
Experience in the manufacture of valves, actuators, or other quarter turn industrial equipment
