We are seeking for an experienced Internal Project Manager to join our growing team based in Manchester.
This position will have the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of medium complex projects, supporting the European countries in driving their projects and working closely with the Project team and European Factories.
The Internal Project Manager will be responsible for the entire process from order reconciliation phase until cash collection, including the project scope and requirements while also having ownership for timely delivery and profitability.
They will provide the sales forecast for the managed orders and own the manufacturing execution plan.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead internal and external communication meetings to ensure alignment
Lead or support PM in Customer & Internal Kickoff meetings to ensure alignment between Emerson and Customer on all aspects of the project and provide clarity and resolve any open issues in the Execution Plan.
Make sure the Project requirements are communicated and properly understood by the factory team members.
Conduct initial contract review to ensure quote to order process is accurate.
Create and issue project documentation in line with customer specifications & factory standards in-line with project deliverables. These are to include; MS Project Schedules, Quality & Inspection & Test Plans as required, SDRL’s.
Liaise with and encourage the Engineering team to create project BOM’s and issue GA drawings.
Monitor project progress and execution with Production Planning, MPS, Buyers, Suppliers, Quality and Logistics teams, to keep the project on track to achieve on-time in full delivery.
As required, expedite different departmental functions at the appropriate level.
React to, evaluate and implement project changes, as required by the change order process.
Coordinate all factory actions related to the given project and be aware of, and intervene, on any issue that can impact project lead time, shipment and margin.
Where opportunity arises, increase scope of supply/work and profitability of the project and project schedule and minimize hidden discounts.
Coordinate & participate in customer pre-inspection meetings, to provide clarity understanding of the project inspection process and requirements.
Provides regular and timely progress reports to the Project Manager / Customer / Sales Office and highlight any delay or deviation from the original plan to all project stakeholders.
In-line with the Project Schedule, raise and issue NOI’s in a timely manner and coordinate Project Inspections, and managing the customer, or its representative, during factory site visits.
Prepare the inspections, shipping schedules and release documentation to ensure the project is shipped on time to the customer request.
Work closely with Documentation Controller to ensure timely issue and approval of Project relevant documents, in-line with the SDRL and expected dates.
Collect and forward standard documents/certification to customer/Sales Office/PM.
At the time of project closing, summarizes all learning points, makes suggestions and supports continuous improvement programs.
Share project lesson learning points with internal team as applicable.
Supports PMO company objectives, policies and goals.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree in Engineering, Business or a minimum of 5 years as project coordinator/manager.
- Fluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing.
- Possess good, assertive communication skills and interpersonal skills to interface with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Tob be results oriented and able to work independently.
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills/Techniques.
- Demonstrate dynamic work style in a continuously complex and changing environment
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Working experience in manufacturing LNG, Chemical, Oil & Gas instruments / equipment is a plus.
- Experience of working with UK & international blue-chip company and classification society prerequisites
- Project Management experience of manufacturing pressure management instruments is strongly preferred

The Project Coordinator supports the European countries in driving their projects according the PMO processes and work in a close manner with the Project team and European Factories. They will be responsible for the entire process from order reconciliation phase until cash collection. This includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements while also having ownership for timely delivery and profitability. They will provide the sales forecast for the managed orders. The Projects Coordinator supports Project Manager for Tier 3 projects. They will own the manufacturing execution plan, managing the whole process in the factory from Factory Order Issued through Manufacturing to Shipment. They will be responsible to initiate appropriate proactive or corrective actions, in a timely manner.
