Internship Governance and Securities (6 Months)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Support the execution of the company’s governance and legal strategies as assigned by members of the Governance & Securities Department.
Assist with the maintenance of the global legal entity management system, ensuring that corporate governance documentation (e.g., minute books, resolutions, bylaws, incorporation and restructuring documents, powers of attorney) is accurate, organized, and up to date.
Conduct legal and corporate research on governance policies, precedents, regulatory requirements, and best practices relevant to MEA legal entities.
Draft and update corporate structure charts, subsidiary and affiliate lists, and assist with explanations of historical governance records.
Prepare memos, summaries, internal communications, and maintain trackers for ongoing governance processes and deadlines.
Support the preparation of governance-related sections in tenders, vendor pre-qualification documents, and similar requests.

Provide corporate documents to internal teams and external stakeholders when required
In collaboration with, and under the guidance of, Governance Department members:
Prepare materials for Annual Shareholders’ Meetings, Board of Directors’ Meetings, and other governance-related meetings.
Track and ensure that corporate records and archives for MEA entities and branch offices remain complete, accurate, and up to date.
Assist with regulatory filings and jurisdiction-specific compliance requirements, including license updates and statutory reporting.
Support corporate processes such as new entity incorporations, liquidations, mergers, post-acquisition integrations, and changes in board or management composition.
Assist with drafting banking Powers of Attorney and other authority-related documents.
Liaise with external legal advisors on governance and entity-related matters.
Perform any other duties necessary for the effective functioning of the Governance & Securities Group.

Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Law
Advanced MS Office skills
Excellent oral and written English (C1)
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and high attention to detail
- Previous experience in Compliance, Legal, or Corporate Governance will be considered a plus.
