Based in our McKinney, TX location, you will devise and implement sales and marketing strategies, forecast sales, and maintain the relationship with the North American sales channel to meet the objectives of the Business Unit’s overall business plans and strategies.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead sales channel including, developing overall channel strategy, conduct channel partner business reviews, run quarterly sales conference calls, sales forecasts and proposal activity
- Run POR process for monthly orders forecast and annual budgeting processes
- Manage sales team including Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs) for respective product lines covered
- Lead negotiations of major projects and accounts which includes making technical and business presentations, writing proposals / bids
- Develop and lead customer relationships and implement key account plans
- Work with customer facing support teams to ensure channel has support needed to grow the business. This includes applications engineering, customer service and order entry
- Develop appropriate measures of customer satisfaction, track performance and implement changes to improve performance
- Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customers
- Implement product sales & marketing strategies including value propositions and solutions messaging
- Create sales tools and provide technical product and sales training

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BS in Engineering or a bachelor’s degree with a background in technical sales
- 10 or more years of experience in sales environment with progressive levels of responsibility
- Experience with managing and developing direct reports
- Strong leadership, organizational, written, oral and presentation skills
- Proven interpersonal skills; ability to get things done while working with cross functional teams and at different levels of the organization
- Ability to travel 40% of the time throughout North America
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
