The Data Governance Analyst is tasked with enhancing the organization's data governance strategy by ensuring data across systems is accurate, accessible, and secure. Responsibilities include collaborating with business function team members and data stewards to implement governance policies and maintain data quality standards. The analyst will manage metadata, document data lineage, and support data cataloging efforts. A focus on identifying data discrepancies and recommending corrective actions will be essential in maintaining robust data integrity throughout the organization.

In this role, your responsibilities will be

  • Documenting data governance processes, standards, and policies.

  • Ensure data quality and consistency in all MSOL data-related activities
  • Monitoring and auditing data systems to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Assist in data cataloging, managing metadata, and the implementation of data models.

  • Identify data issues or risks and recommend solutions to enhance data integrity.

  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on data governance practices and tools.

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise IT Data Management team.

Who you are:

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for data integrity and governance. With a strong foundation in information systems and hands-on experience in master data management, you thrive in environments where accuracy, consistency, and compliance are paramount.

For this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles.

  • Proficiency in SQL and data management tools

  • Ability to communicate effectively (communicate complex issues, simply)

  • Strong analysis skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate proficiently in English (written and verbal)

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

  • Independent Work and self-motivated

  • Collaborative work experience

  • Understanding of data structures

  • Practical knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite would be preferred.

  • Certification in data governance

  • Organizational skills, reliable, and good attention to detail
