Job Summary
This Regionalization Project Manager role will be accountable for the successful execution and delivery for PRM Asia Pacific Regionalization projects. This person will follow Regionalization Gate process and 3-Year MFG Plan, work with SBU leaders, Site Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Regionalization Program Manager, and other functional teams to bring in new products to be produced in Asia for Asia to enhance AP business growth. Project Management tools and governance will be used to ensure the deliverables are reached and exceeded.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Drive and monitor the AP regionalization projects using the Regionalization Gate Process
Accountable for Project management activities within PRM Asia Pacific, to enable delivery of projects on cost, specifications, and time to meet the project targets.
Effective management of the regionalization project team across PRM Asia Pacific locations, ensuring the project has the appropriate level of stakeholder sponsorship and engagement.
Execute Regionalization Projects in AP region
Support and involve in the initial stage of the project (pre-Gate 1)
Form the project team from various functions or departments, to develop project plan and align the project objectives with key stakeholders, ensuring that all deadlines are being met
Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects and perform overall quality control of the work
Lead the project team on following up on deliverables in compliance to Regionalization Gate process, prepare and lead Project Gate reviews.
Develop Project risk matrix and manage risks – escalate, reduce, mitigate or eliminate risks.
Lead the team to resolve project issues, through structure problem solving approaches.
Project data analysis and preparation of project reporting. Report the KPI number periodically
Organize and manage project documents and database for effective utilization by other team members
To lead in project discussions, status update reporting and communications
Communicate with management via Gate Meetings and regular updates of project progress to Regionalization Program Manager and AP Operations Director

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Minimum 10 years’ working experience in Operations with at least 3 years in project management
Experience with Product Manufacturing / Production Line transfer will be an advantage
Experience in Project Management in a global multinational organization will be an advantage
PMP certified, with excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills will be an advantage
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English
Could effectively communicate with senior leadership and across cultural/geographical boundaries
Conflict management skills and ability to travel
