Job Summary:
Support the European Sales Offices during the preparation of commercial offers for Green Field projects, manufactured in any of the wordwide Flow Control factories but mainly in AP.
Be responsible of several KOB1 projects by driving all activities (from letter of intent to invoicing) required for their smooth execution, in order to deliver them as per customer requirements and contractual delivery dates while improving their profitability.
Internal
Lead multidisciplinary teams mainly in an international context: GPP, Sales, FECS-FCEC, project teams from other world areas, QP&S Engineers, Planning Engineer, Contract Admins of the various European Sales Offices, doc team, execution team (detailers, drafters, Product Engineers, IPM, Quality team, Shipping, Production, Procurement, Purchasing …), Finances.
External
Customers mainly but also 3rd parties or suppliers if necessary.
Descriptions of main activities
Participate to and influence technical and commercial offers preparation with Sales Offices and GPP by coordinating the spec review and planning activities
Participate to the alignements calls and contract review calls and influence the internal strategy while sharing lesson learnt from previous projects
Negotiate with customer the technical and document related specification while collaboring with the Sales Offices
Ensure that every stakeholder understands the project’s requirements by reviewing the spec review file in details, detailing the deviations and following the Tier 3 process
Define and commit on project lead times while considering, whenever possible, some float to mitigate risks
Ensure Emerson commitments are documentented in the purchase order
Be responsible of the project once awarded
Be Flow Control Europe interface for customer and contribute to his satisfaction by providing required and accurate data
Organise every progress meeting (Gates, KOM, iKOM, PIM, Project Review …)
Lead every project step, while ensuring lead times and milestones are respected
Coordinate the internal teams, located in various world areas
Track and record project progress (goods and documentation)
Analyse and coordinate any change that could happen during projet life
Commit to annual, quarterly and monthly Sales forecasts
Improve project profitability by preparing a Margin Uplift Plan, grabbing every customer change’s opportunity and by identifying actions to limit costs
Anticipate and identify potential risks in any project’s aspect and ensure that preventive/corrective actions are activated
Record any fact or relevant step in order to provide factual data to negotiate in case of dispute / LDs discussion
Ensure data availability to the whole internal team by updating the Shre Point site and during weekly progress calls
Analyse issues
lead the team toward decision taking or appropriate strategy
manage and influence customer in the solving of these issues
At project completion, hand over to end destination Sales Office, prepare and organise lessons learnt.

Be responsible for project success (contractual, technical and financial aspects) in front of both customer and internal organisation
