Senior Accounts Payables Specialist with Turkish

This is a key position supporting Finance team on the Accounts Payable side.
The SR AP Specialist will be responsible of & oversee the AP accounting activities for Emerson European locations, following Standard Accounting Policies and Procedures.
- Performs and supervise routine accounts payable tasks in a timely manner including gathering information, verifying accuracy, providing resolution for vendor invoices (PO and non-PO)
- Identifies disputes related to the invoices (quantity/pricing concerns, etc.) and is responsible of following up & resolving with the relevant department/supplier.
- Will provide support, as required, to the various accounts’ payable activities in all European locations
- Provides data needed for reporting/ prepares reports & analysis (GRNI, Hold/Logged reports/Debit Balance)
- Analyzes vendor accounts, prepares, and sends account statements when required and resolve discrepancies
- Provides supporting documentation for internal/external audits.
- Acts as subject matter expert for the team, assists colleagues in answering general queries
- Provides support in month end closing routines
- Pursue continuous improvements (identifies opportunities and drives implementation)
- In addition to the above, participation in accounting projects may be required.

You are capable to be progressive and able to articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods. You integrate quantitative and qualitative information to draw accurate conclusions.
5 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational company;
Strong English and Turkish skills, both written and spoken;
Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel);
Knowledge of another international language;
Experience with accounting software (Oracle, SAP, Syteline);
