f you are a Sales professional (In the Querétaro area) looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you within our Branson Ultrasonics business! The Segment Sales Specialist is responsible for driving orders growth of the dynamic Industrial Cleaning and Plastic Joining segment across the Mexico region, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. The Industrial Cleaning segment consists of find potential customers looking for ultrasonic cleaning and vapor degreaser equipment, based on current customers and new customers. To be successful, the Segment Sales Manager must be committed to driving orders growth by actively prospecting and converting leads, acquiring new customers, working collaboratively in a matrixed environment, and possess (or willing to develop) subject matter expertise in the Automotive, Medical and Electronics segment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Drive orders growth within the defined region for the Industrial Cleaning segment, working alongside the territory sales team

    • Ensure we capture above-market growth with an intense focus on prospecting, acquiring new customers, and supporting territory sales with segment expertise – applications, technology, target accounts, etc.
    • Lead prospector for assigned segment – generate, pursue, and convert leads
    • Manage lead and opportunity funnel for new accounts within the segment, casting a wide net and driving the conversion rate
    • Develop & execute customer seminars, train territory sales teams on segment related initiatives (e.g. new applications, value-selling, etc.), and regularly stay abreast & in-front of segment trends
    • Maintain existing customer base with a high level of satisfaction, expand potential at current customers and capture new business through prospecting & target accounts
    • Displace competition at target accounts and grow market participation
    • Proactively expand application knowledge and share regularly within your team – leveraging wins and examples from other regions/countries

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or the equivalent training
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business, preferably in a business-to-business sales environment and in the industrial/manufacturing market
  • Technical knowledge in electrical or mechanical industries
