Lead Sales Incentive Compensation Specialist (Europe)

As a Lead Sales Incentive Compensation Specialist (Europe), you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and optimise Oracle Incentive Compensation solutions including reporting and KPI management. This role requires knowledge of compensation plan framework, incentive plan design, data integration, and compliance controls. You will ensure accurate and timely calculation of sales commissions and incentive payouts while driving process improvements and system enhancements.
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Partner with Global ICM Teams, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, and HR to understand incentive compensation strategies.
- Document business processes, workflows, and system dependencies for Oracle ICM.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration and enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Integration & Data Management
- Collaborate with IT and middleware teams to ensure seamless data flow from Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), HCM, and CRM into Oracle ICM.
- Ensure data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling for incentive transactions.
- Review system outputs weekly, investigate discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
- Support automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test scripts for new plans, enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Identify and resolve system defects promptly.
- Maintain documentation and controls to meet compliance and audit requirements.
- Assess risks in system changes and implement preventive measures.
- Stakeholder Communication & Training
- Deliver training and guidance on Oracle ICM functionality.
- Act as a subject matter expert for incentive compensation processes and system capabilities.
- Communicate clearly & effectively with global stakeholders on timelines, changes, and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting.
- Reporting & KPI Management
- Monitor dashboards and reports to provide visibility into incentive performance, payout accuracy, and plan effectiveness.
- Monitor key metrics:
- Data Integration Timeliness (on-time data loads and reconciliations)
- Plan Compliance (adherence to governance and audit standards)
- Issue Resolution SLA (average time to resolve calculation or data issues)
- Deliver monthly and quarterly KPI reports to Finance, Sales Operations, and Leadership
- Analyse trends and variances in incentive payouts to identify risks, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests for audits, compliance reviews, and executive insights.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting.
- Stay current with Oracle ICM updates and best practices.

You are capable to be progressive and able to articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods. You integrate quantitative and qualitative information to draw accurate conclusions.
- Higher education preferred, Finance or Information Systems related fields desirable.
- Experience in incentive compensation management, with Oracle ICM experience preferred
- Proven experience in delivering complex programs in a matrix organisation.
- Stakeholder management abilities.
- English fluency to business standard essential, proficiency in additional languages advantageous.
- Extensive experience in building and maintaining relationships across all levels, including senior leadership.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
