In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Promote Emerson’s purpose, causes and values autonomously while supporting the Company’s objectives
- Autonomously enable the ethical execution of legal business opportunities, proactively mitigating risk and reducing cost
- Oversee the Regulatory Compliance function for ROA and take responsibility for the development and management of the ROA Regulatory Compliance program
- Drive the Regulatory Compliance strategic plan and AP key initiatives for ROA.
- Proactively advise, support and update the business on rules, regulations and practices affecting Regulatory Compliance for ROA countries, including but not limited to applicable sanctions, anti-corruption, boycotts, import and export controls, supply chain security, information governance and product environmental compliance requirements
- Develop and otherwise lead regional and country-based compliance councils to increase efficiency, drive consistency and manage regional and country specific requirements
- Develop and otherwise manage an annual program review/site visit schedule for the ROA region, documenting the results to ensure any non-conformances are corrected satisfactorily and within agreed time frames
- Develop and otherwise manage an annual Regulatory Compliance training schedule for ROA and deliver relevant training using both face-to-face and remote delivery methods
- Act as ROA’s escalation point of contact for Regulatory Compliance questions from the businesses within the region

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in International Trade, Legal, Business, Finance or related field with relevancy to a compliance role
- Excellent oral and written English language skills
- 7+ years of direct experience in a multi-national Regulatory Compliance related field
Strong coaching & mentoring skills
Comfortable to work with senior management
Sound MS Office skills
Working knowledge of JDE, Oracle, E2Open and TradeSphere Exporter
Working knowledge of product environmental compliance regulations, including REECH, RoHS and IECE
Working knowledge of information governance regulations including data privacy and product cyber security
Working knowledge of Anti-Corruption legislation and due diligence processes
Experience working in region and with local regulatory authorities

Ability to travel 25%+ for success in the role
