As Castings Commodity Manager, you will play a key role in steering the strategic sourcing of castings for highmix, lowvolume production. You will oversee supplier qualification, contract management, and category strategy development for casting materials, ensuring qualitycompliant, ontime, and costefficient deliveries. Working closely with sales, technical, manufacturing, and quality teams, you will drive supplier performance, support designformanufacturing initiatives, and strengthen longterm supply chain resilience. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to meet safety, quality, and on‑time delivery targets.

  • Ensure complete compliance with company procedures, trade regulations, and all quality, safety, environmental, and nuclear‑safety requirements.

  • Develop category strategies, manage supplier risks, and oversee the onboarding and qualification of global suppliers.

  • Work closely with the Project Management Office, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure procurement activities support production schedules and rate‑of‑production objectives.

  • Partner with supplier quality engineers and quality assurance teams to define supplier and product qualification needs.

  • Drive cost optimization using strategic sourcing tools while meeting engineering, quality, and project requirements.

  • Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and contractual conditions, ensuring contracts remain accurate and valid.

  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives while maintaining a questioning attitude and escalating any risks, irregularities, or suspected fraud or counterfeiting.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Highereducation degree (Master’s level) in purchasing, project management, business engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Confident user of Microsoft Office tools, able to create analyses, reports, and summaries.

  • Solid understanding of products, materials, and their technical characteristics.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings to understand production needs.

  • Skilled in managing complex negotiations and reaching balanced agreements.

  • Good knowledge of how to structure and manage contracts.

  • Understanding of industry regulations, including nuclear standards and construction codes.

  • Proficiency in French and English language

  • Ability to travel (up to 20%)
