We’re looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team at one of our Minnesota locations, Shakopee, Eden Prairie, or Chanhassen. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on developing world-class software solutions for measurement and analytical instrumentation. You’ll contribute to projects that drive innovation in industrial automation, working alongside experienced engineers to design, test, and refine software that powers precision technologies used in critical applications across the globe.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Apply technical expertise, commensurate with formal training and job experience in the design and development of embedded firmware
- Prepare detailed plans, generally spanning several weeks to months, necessary to complete assignments.
- Troubleshoot and debug the Software using unit tests, Emulators, Simulators, IDE, and bench testing
- Provide process improvements & recommendations
- Work with internal cross-functional teams to understand firmware requirements
- Perform functional integration testing prior to hand-off to the test & evaluation team
- Conduct software design reviews on assigned projects

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer, Software, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Prior internship experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00
