In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Conduct detailed application reviews for ultrasonic, vibration, laser, IR, and other welding methods, preparing feasibility analyses and solution recommendations.
  • Assess customer requirements, technical risks, and engineering constraints to propose effective tooling solutions.
  • Lead 3D tool design, engineering analysis, cost estimation, and schedule management for tooling projects.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners to ensure timely delivery, alignment with design intent, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage laboratory operations, including tool setup, equipment preparation, and validation activities.
  • Perform welding tests, analyze outcomes, and prepare data‑driven technical test reports.
  • Provide technical support for tooling setup and equipment tuning at customer sites.
  • Identify and resolve welding quality issues through root‑cause analysis and development of corrective actions.
  • Deliver differentiated technical support to enhance customer experience and reinforce Branson’s engineering leadership.
  • Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance, ensuring safety compliance and preventive care.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to uphold strong 5S discipline and operational excellence.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • A background in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Experience with CAD platforms such as CATIA or NX‑UG; programming capability is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both Korean and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in team‑based environments.
  • Willingness to travel for customer support and on‑site activities.
  • Openness to candidates early in their careers who demonstrate strong potential.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Hands‑on experience in tool design, welding applications, or test engineering.
  • Exposure to laboratory environments, fixture/horn/nest setup, or testing operations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, safety practices, or 5S principles.
