Role Overview

The Strategic Partnership Manager will own and scale NI’s relationships with large Global System Integrators (GSI) headquartered in India.

These firms are critical multipliers in Emerson’s T&M groups growth strategy. They influence technology selection, architect solutions for global OEMs, and shape large-scale automation programs across industries.

This role will:

  • Build executive-level partnerships
  • Expand Emerson’s footprint across business units and global delivery centers
  • Formalize long-term System Integration (SI) partnerships
  • Drive joint go-to-market models
  • Position NI as the preferred automation and test platform

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1. Strategic Relationship OwnershipOwnership

  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies for key GSIs.
  • Engage CXO, BU heads, practice leaders, and engineering teams.
  • Position Emerson T&M as a strategic technology and innovation partner.
  • Drive executive alignment between Emerson T&M leadership and partner leadership.

2. Partnership Development & SI Ecosystem Creation

  • Convert high-potential Global SI’s into formal Emerson T&M’s System Integration Partners.
  • Define partnership tiers, capability certifications, and solution alignment.
  • Identify co-innovation opportunities and IP collaboration models.
  • Enable partners on Emerson T&M’s software and modular hardware platforms.
  • Drive structured joint business planning cadence.

3. Revenue & Influence Expansion

  • Identify white-space opportunities across industries and geographies.
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell across Emerson T&M’s software, PXI, DAQ, and services portfolio.
  • Influence partner-led programs where Emerson T&M can be specified early.
  • Expand Emerson T&M’s adoption across global delivery centers.

4. Multi-Level Engagement Mapping

  • Build detailed stakeholder maps across business units and global locations.
  • Track decision makers, influencers, solution architects, and delivery leads.
  • Ensure Emerson T&M is embedded into partner solution frameworks and design standards.
  • Institutionalize engagement beyond individual relationships.

5. Joint Go-To-Market Execution

  • Develop vertical-specific collaboration models (Semiconductor, A&D, Automotive, Electronics, etc.).
  • Enable partner sales teams on Emerson T&M’s value propositions.
  • Identify and pursue joint pursuits globally.
  • Coordinate with Emerson T&M’s global account teams for aligned execution.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Emerson T&M’s global sales, partner programs, marketing, solution engineering, and product teams.
  • Provide structured voice-of-partner feedback into product strategy.
  • Drive internal alignment to support partner-led large pursuits.

7. Forecasting, Pipeline & Governance

  • Build and manage a high-quality opportunity pipeline.
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and strategic business reviews.
  • Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans.
  • Report on partnership health, revenue growth, and engagement metrics.

Who You Are:

  • You will operate as a business leader inside a strategic ecosystem, not just as an account manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field).
  • 8–15 years of experience in:
    • Strategic account management
    • Enterprise technology sales
    • Partner or alliance development
  • Proven success working with large Engineering Services Companies or GSIs.
  • Strong technical foundation in automation, test, software, or system integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience building or scaling partner ecosystems.
  • Exposure to semiconductor, aerospace & defense, automotive, or electronics industries.
  • Experience in consultative, solution-led selling.
  • Strong executive communication and structured strategic planning capability.
  • Experience managing global stakeholder networks.
  • Driving software-led platform adoption
  • Building long-term, defensible strategic partnerships
