As a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions that support important business workflows. You will work alongside experienced engineers on both modern and legacy systems, gaining hands-on experience while helping improve existing applications. This role is focused on learning, collaboration, and building a strong technical foundation in enterprise software development.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop and enhance full-stack features using Java Spring Boot, React, Oracle SQL, and related technologies, following established architectural and coding standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance and gradual modernization of legacy applications (such as PL/SQL, JSF, and older Java services) under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with support from the team, helping ensure reliability and stability in production environments.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries and basic stored procedures, supporting application functionality and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and CI/CD processes, learning best practices for quality and maintainable software.
  • Help create and update technical documentation, including implementation notes and operational guides.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Learn and apply modern development tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps, as part of daily work.
  • Continuously build technical skills and stay curious about new technologies and development approaches.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • 2 years of professional software development experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Java and exposure to Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and exposure to React is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL is a plus.
  • Exposure to RESTful APIs and general web application concepts.
  • Awareness of version control systems (Git) and interest in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Interest in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus but not required.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
