In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement of materials needed for production in the Appleton Cluj and Amiens factories. You will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process, collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and contribute to inventory optimization, supplier development, and long‑term cost efficiency. You will play an essential role in maintaining production continuity and supporting our European sourcing strategy.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Review MRP recommendations to determine required materials based on inventory levels, production plans, and customer orders.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate quantities, specifications, and delivery dates. Maintain accurate system updates and use order‑tracking tools to ensure visibility and control.
- Communicate purchase orders to suppliers, follow up on confirmations, and monitor delivery performance, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with logistics to coordinate transportation and ensure on‑time receipt of materials.
- Support invoice reconciliation by clarifying discrepancies with suppliers and internal financial partners.
- Build strong supplier relationships through consistent communication and effective negotiation.
- Participate in planning and customer service meetings to address material constraints and supply risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and validate monthly purchasing plans aligned with company targets.
- Work closely with Engineering and Development teams to support new product introductions, supplier discussions, and cost analyses.
- Identify and drive cost‑reduction initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Assess supplier performance, capability, cost, and risk mitigation efforts and recommend improvements.
- Monitor monthly supplier KPIs and lead improvement actions.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and contractual conditions to support sourcing strategy and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational terms, conditions, and supply chain standards.
- Analyze and manage supplier‑initiated design changes and coordinate internally as needed.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- University degree.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in procurement within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Understanding material requirements, supply planning, and purchasing processes.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).
- Advanced English language skills.
- A good ability to take the initiative on pursuing targets and stay focused and persistent in achieving results.
- Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in a technical sourcing environment.
- Exposure to supplier qualification or supplier development processes.
- Experience working with an ERP system.
