The Business Intelligence & Automation Specialist will support business operations through business intelligence, analytics and targeted automation initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with Strategic Services, Product Support, Cybersecurity Group, Educational Services, Finance, and other partners to enable data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and end-to-end process effectiveness across the business. A key aspect of this role is supporting the quote-to-cash (Q2C) lifecycle for software and services offerings. This includes enabling insights, automation, and governance across proposal development, commercial processes, project controls, and operational administration to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability from initial opportunity through delivery and close-out.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design, build, and maintain business intelligence solutions that deliver timely, actionable insights for business operations and commercial teams.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support operational, financial, and strategic decision‑making.
- Analyze operational, commercial, and project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting service delivery, utilization, and revenue realization.
- Enable end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash visibility through analytics and automation, supporting proposals, project controls, delivery tracking, and operational administration.
- Support the development, review, and submission of proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong data‑driven alignment with customer and business requirements.
- Partner with business operations and project teams to deliver project controls and performance reporting, including milestone, effort, and financial tracking.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency across business, commercial, and project administration processes.
- Design and deploy automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, RPA platforms, and AI‑enabled workflows to streamline reporting, approvals, and handoffs.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders (Strategic Services, Product Support, Cybersecurity Group, Educational Services, Finance and others) to translate requirements into effective analytics and automation solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for business intelligence, automation, and data‑driven process improvement, while ensuring documentation, data governance, and compliance standards are upheld.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Experience designing or supporting automation solutions using Power Automate and/or RPA tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational and commercial data into actionable insights
- Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and process optimization concepts
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (Office Applications, Teams, SharePoint)
- Curiosity, experimentation, and a growth mindset toward technology adoption
- Strong written and spoken English; with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities across operational and commercial domains.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into BI or automation solutions
- Familiarity with intelligent automation tools such as Blue Prism or UiPath
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting quote-to-cash, project controls, financial, or service-related analytics
- Exposure to proposal development, commercial operations, or project administration within software or services environment
- Strong ability to collaborate on cutting-edge initiatives leveraging automation, machine learning, generative AI
- Experience in presenting insights and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
