Field Service Engineer (Chiba)

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provide after-sales services (proposals, solutions, maintenance and so on) for our customers who use our products (Flowmeters[Coriolis, ultrasonic, vortex], Level instruments[Radar, Differential pressure], Pressure and temperature transmitters, Gas and liquid analyzers) and asset management systems to enhance benefits of those products.
Installation & Commissioning Support
Provide support for the installation and commissioning of measurement and analytical instruments, including flowmeters (Coriolis, ultrasonic), pressure/temperature/level transmitters, and density/concentration meters.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
Diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, investigate root causes, and offer technical advice to customers.
Preventive Maintenance & Calibration
Conduct inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance of measurement instruments.
Customer Support & Technical Assistance
Provide guidance on product usage and optimization, and respond to technical inquiries from customers.
Configuration Work at Emerson Chiba Service Center
Perform initial setup, parameter configuration, communication settings, and functional optimization for newly delivered instruments at Emerson Chiba Service Center.

You understand products technically and facilitate customers promptly.
You keep improving efficiency and optimizing process of maintenance for customers.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Interested / motivated to work on-site (e.g.: plants, customers’ plants/field locations)
- General knowledge of instrumentation
- Technical background
- Business /native levels of Japanese proficiency at reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Soft skill-set such as communication and good relation building with customers and respective counterparts
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experiences to work on-sites such as plants/customers’ sites. Also, advantage work experiences at on sites in similar industries

Technical understanding of wireless instrumentation and knowledge of integration technology with higher-level systems
