As a Receiving Associate at our Cambridge, OH facility, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient receipt of materials entering the distribution center. You will help maintain the flow of goods by unloading trailers, verifying incoming shipments, and transferring materials to the appropriate locations to support safe and continuous operations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Load and unload trailers to ensure timely receipt of incoming shipments.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quality, accuracy, and potential damage.
  • Count and verify incoming items against bills of lading and packing slips.
  • Transfer, replenish, and organize product within the distribution center and between facilities.
  • Escalate receiving or inventory concerns when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and other cross-functional groups.
  • Support inventory, kitting, and quality functions when required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with distribution center standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to help meet business needs.
  • General PC knowledge.
  • Completion of Emerson-required training and certification for powered industrial equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, standing crown pick trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
