Ridge Tool - Inventory Associate

As an Inventory Associate at our Cambridge, OH distribution center, you will help maintain accurate inventory records and support seamless operations in a high volume environment. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, complete audits, assist Receiving, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure product integrity and the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform daily cycle counts and locate missing products to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct quality checks, and communicate findings.
- Complete aisle audits, make corrections, and report results promptly.
- Transfer materials between locations to support operational needs.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments and external partners as needed.
- Escalate inventory or quality concerns to maintain accuracy and safety standards.
- Put away excess parts and provide support for Receiving.
- Participate in physical inventory preparation, counting, and reconciliation.
- Serve as a backup for the Inventory Coordinator.
- Complete reports related to Quality Assurance, Inventory, Receiving, and Production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct frequent cycle counts and quality checks.
- Analytical and communication skills, with basic math aptitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs.
- PC proficiency, including experience using Excel and Word.
- Successful completion of Emerson-required training and certification on powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, standing crown pick trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- 1+ year of inventory experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Experience in high-volume distribution or material handling environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate concerns with clarity and confidence.
