We are currently seeking a highly motivated Renewal Specialist to join our team in the Sales Department. As a SW Renewals Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers continue to benefit from our services by proactively engaging with them, encouraging renewals, and identifying opportunities for service expansion.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to directly drive customer success and contribute to revenue generation for T&M. While previous sales experience and an engineering/technical degree are advantageous, they are not mandatory. We value self-motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by influencing business results.
- Drive service renewals through effective phone and email interactions with customers.
- Implement a strategic approach to maximize customer engagement and renewal rates.
- Respond to inbound requests promptly and professionally.
- Identify sales expansion opportunities, such as multi-year renewals and value-added agreements.
- Document all activities using SFDC and Oracle systems and collaborate with sales teams.
- Provide constructive feedback on processes and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and grow our Software Services agreements pipeline.
- Ensure end-to-end process efficiency and accuracy in orders/quotes and contract management, utilizing NI systems to support internal and external customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering support and value in revenue generation conversations with customers.
- Assist external and internal customers with order status, contract management, SW services troubleshooting, and other SW Services inquiries.
- Develop strong knowledge of SW services and technical aspects to promptly address customer inquiries.
- Engage customers using NI SW renewals strategy, leveraging calls and emails to ensure timely renewals and uninterrupted entitlements.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with multiple NI departments and groups to ensure customer success (Agreements, Account Executives, EA Marketing, Sales, EA Training Support, and Customers).
- Experience with SalesForce and Oracle tools.
- Customer service experience (phones & email).
- Excellent communication. advanced English (C1) proficiency (conversational and in writing).
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills, prioritization and ability to self-manage an opportunity pipeline.
- Ability to navigate uncertainty.
- Track record of complying with SLAs .
- Ability to mine for data, and leverage it in practical ways is encouraged (Experience with data tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Excel) is a plus
- Basic NI Software product knowledge is a plus, but it can be trained
- High-level understanding of programming or in-progress education in software/electrical/mechanical engineering (or equivalent) is a plus
