Material Buyer (Temporary 6 months)

• Improving compliance with orders placed using good interpretation of MRP to ensure material availability and satisfy the manufacturing requirements
• Facilitates effective communication system daily updated, keeping up delivery dates, quantities, size, attributes of part numbers, purchase planning parameters, etc., to obtain correct messages of raw material
• Expedited material by analysis, communication and logistics with supplier to ensure material availability while reducing cycle time.
• Improved tracking with each supplier delivery times, quantity, quality and services previously agreed for each purchase order.
• Reduce discrepancies in purchase orders, requisitions, prices, deliveries, invoices, material no conformant through proper communication with suppliers to ensure materials.
• Foresee any short of material, developing detailed and objective reports of missing material thru system verification with prior suppliers’ notification to inform the organization and prevent recurrence.
• Improved inventory level management using detailed analysis on the raw material supply to maintain optimal inventory, identifying obsolete part numbers and replacements as well as negotiations with suppliers and purchase rescheduling messages.
• Is responsible for quoting and negotiations with national or internationals approved suppliers, price, delivery, quality and service that meet the requirements and policies of the company in the acquisition of raw material helping to maintain the standard quality.
• Participate in the selection and development of raw material suppliers of both domestic and international, using the close communication with commodities to improve supply chain.
